The Santaland Diaries

Produced by Cleveland Public Theatre, The Santaland Diaries is best-selling author David Sedaris' semi-autobiographical story of a jaded, 33-year-old out-of-work actor who takes a job as "Crumpet the Elf" at a Macy's department store. As thousands of holiday customers gaily tromp through his display, Crumpet regales the audience with hilarious observations about the realities of holiday cheer, all performed with a sardonic wit that has made The Santaland Diaries an enduring holiday favorite. Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical

The Musical is the record-setting Broadway holiday sensation which features the hit songs "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the original animated special. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small," decided to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos. Magnificient sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss' original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville and helps remind us of the true meaning of the holiday season.
