Harvest Festival Returns

The arrival of fall produces spectacular scenery at Hale Farm & Village nestled in the Cuyahoga Valley. Guests are invited to our annual Harvest Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 1, 2, 8 & 9. Harvest Festival creates family memories, experience; apple butter churning, a cider press, wagon rides, a conversation with Johnny Appleseed, pumpkin painting a corn maze, and more autumn themed activities.

The annual Stow Historical Society Harvest Festival will be held October 1 & 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Heritage Reserve Park in Stow's Silver Springs Park, 5120 Young Road, Stow.  

Craft vendors, entertainment, concession stand, old fashioned apple butter, and interactive children's activities are included. Three historic furnished homes and a one-room schoolhouse are open to visitors.

Climb aboard for a faBOOulous Halloween train ride! Join us for an afternoon on train an play games, meet some Halloween characters, and enjoy a sweet treat! Here you will have the opportunity to receive autographs and take pictures with some special guests which include Dracula and his daughter, Cinderella and Rapunzel! Everyone will be dressed in their Halloween best, you should be too! We can't wait to see you there in your Halloween party wear!

Train will depart Peninsula Depot at 1:45pm and return to the Peninsula Depot at 3:35pm.

Country Christmas is geared for families with children. Guests walk through the light display to a building where they make an ornament. Then each family is invited to visit Santa in the gingerbread house. Inside families will have Santa all to themselves to visit and take pictures. Guests are more than welcome to take their own photos or can purchase a photo from a photographer. After visiting Santa, guests get to decorate a cookie and have hot chocolate. There is also the petting zoo open and the indoor play area set up with bales to climb on, slides, and corn boxes to play in. All the activities are indoors!
