"Entangled" is co-curated by Dr. Sherry Schofield, current associate director of Kent State's Fashion School, and Missouri-based artist Sharon Kilfoyle.

The Polar ExpressTM will be offered Friday, November 14 - Sunday, December 21, 2014 departing from Rockside Station in Independence and Northside Station in Akron. The trips will depart at 7 pm for a two-hour round trip. Matinees departing at 12 pm will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays in December. There will be no trips on November 17-19, and 26-27. Breakfast with Santa at The Hower House Victorian Mansion

Santa Breakfast is planned for Saturday, December 6th at 10:00am (until 11:45am) followed by a walk-through tour (included in price) of the House. The jolly old elf will be present at the breakfast so the children can visit with him.

The Santa breakfast cost for children is $22 each (ages 3-12); adults $15 each, children 2 and under are free with paid adult. (Please note we do not offer high chairs) Limited seating, so call and get your prepaid reservations in early! Reservations will close when all seats have been sold. Children are welcome to leave a letter for Santa during their visit. Cameras are also welcome in Santa's Workshop only for personal photos of your children with Santa.

Holiday Open Hearth Dinner

The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum will offer a special open-hearth cooked dinner on Friday December 12 from 6:00-8:30 PM. Doors will open at 6:00 and guests will be able to observe the meal being prepared at the hearth. Dinner will be served at 6:30 in the Museum's Street of Shops. Your meal will include pumpkin soup, chicken, green beans, bubble and squeak, fresh baked bread, warm apple cobbler, and beverages. Guests will be able to tour the fully decorated museum. The Museum Shoppe will be open for holiday shopping. The cost for this exciting evening is $30 per person. Reservations are required and payment is due at the time reservations are made. There is limited seating available so sign up today! The deadline to make reservations is December 8.
