Main Street Kent Oktoberfest
Time & Location
About the Event
This event will be expanded this year from Franklin Ave. to include a section of W. Main St. and the Hometown Bank Plaza. Local eateries will be set up on the street, selling specially prepared German foods. Vendors will include Erie Street Kitchen, Ray’s Place (serving out the window this year), GRAZERS, Scratch, Popped!, and more. Food vendors will also be selling non-alcoholic beverages.
Three beer trucks, featuring Platform’s Oktoberfest, Yammy Yammy Sweet Potato Ale, and a variety of other seasonal beverages will be set up on W. Main St. and Franklin Ave. Attendees will be able to purchase commemorative Oktoberfest glassware and plastic beer pitchers, or simply purchase cups of beer during the event. Glasses and pitchers will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Only cash will be accepted, and all guests are asked to bring proper identification. No pets are permitted at this special event, per city ordinance; service animals are welcome.
There will be live music and a packed entertainment schedule for the day, beginning with polka and dancing, then moving on to a variety of fantastic local bands.
