The holidays are here and although things are different this year we can still have a fun, safe and memorable holiday season. Check out these 12 Days Before Christmas Fun Activities and start making some memories.
Day 1: Visit a Christmas Tree Farm and pick out that perfect tree this holiday season! Day 3: Be on the look out for hidden holiday painted rocks. They could be anywhere. After you find them re-hide them somewhere else, so another person can find them. You can even paint your own holiday rocks and hide them for others.
Day 4: Support a local restaurant by getting take out. Then head home to watch a holiday movie and enjoy your delicious meal! Day 5: Light Up the Holidays by Enjoying the Christmas Lights & Decorations throughout the city and neighboring communities! Day 6: Get some holiday shopping done. Visit a locally owned store and pick up some special and unique holiday gifts for your loved ones.
Day 7: Have some fun outside by going on a Winter Scavenger Hunt! See who can find all of the items first - it's fun for all ages!
Day 8: Request one of the many holiday books at your local library and enjoy reading it as a family, by the fire or wrapped up in a cozy blanket.
Day 9: Get Ready for 2021 and Start Planning Your Vacation! Streetsboro makes for a perfect vacation spot with so much to see and do.
Day 10: Enjoy the great outdoors and the beauty that it holds. Visit a nearby park and take a Winter Hike. The Portage Park District has a variety of trails to choose from.
Day 11: Although winter is a cold time of year it is also so beautiful and a lot of fun. Take some time and go skiing at Boston Mills / Brandywine Ski Resorts, go sledding or build a snowman.
Day 12: Start a new holiday tradition - make a gingerbread house, create your own ornament, donate food or gives to those in need, the options are endless.
