Swing by Monroe's Orchard this Saturday for Pick-Your-Own Apples from 1-4pm and have fun wondering around looking for that perfect apple to pick. They are also offering Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins everyday. Find that perfect pumpkin to turn into a jack-o-lantern. Monroe's Orchard is located at 6313 Pioneer Trail in Hiram. Beckwith Orchard is another great place to visit to pick up some delicious apples and your fall decorations including mums, stalks, bales, pumpkins and more. Corn Mazes are beyond fun for any age. Derthick's Corn Maze offers 2 exceptional mazes to explore, one of the Statue of Liberty and the other of an American Eagle. Both pieces are works of art. Admission is $10.00 per person 6-64, 5 and under are free, 65 and up is $6.00 per person. There will be a $1.00 per person service fee for all credit card users. They will be open September 18 - November 1; Friday night 6-11pm, Saturday 1-11pm and Sunday 12-6pm. Derthick's Corn Maze is located at 10833 Chamberlain Road in Mantua. Guyette Farm will be having their annual corn maze. This year their maze portrays a symbol of love and togetherness. The Guyette Farm maze is open Saturdays 12-7pm and Sundays 12-5pm from September 19 - November 1. Admission is $7 per person ages 3 and up. (Cash only). The Portage Park District has so many wonderful parks to explore. The levels of difficulty vary thereby making numerous trails available for everyone. The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is just a short drive from Streetsboro and offers an unbelievable outdoor experience. From the beautiful picturesque nature scenes to the breathtaking waterfalls.
