The City of Streetsboro is gearing up for the Total Solar Eclipse by hosting a "Total Eclipse in the Park” event on Monday, April 8th from 11am - 4pm at Streetsboro City Park, 8970 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro, to celebrate the total solar eclipse.

April 3, 2024 4pm - 5pm enjoy an Eclipse Edition-Pop-Up Book Club at Streetsboro Library, 8990 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro, and discuss the horror master Stephen King's "Dolores Claiborne. Due to the subject matter, this is for adults only. Limited to 20 participants.
April 5, 2024 3pm - 4:30pm enjoy a Teen Galaxy Crafts Day at Streetsboro Library, 8990 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro. This is for ages 13-18.
April 6, 2024 2pm - 4pm enjoy Solar System Bracelet Jewelry Making at Streetsboro Library, 8990 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro. This activity is a drop-in program for all ages. While supplies last.
April 8, 2024 11am - 4pm bring the kids for the Total Eclipse in the Park Kid’s Crafts at Streetsboro City Park, 8970 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro. There will be kids crafts and educational activities leading to the afternoon Eclipse. Come be park of the Total Eclipse in the Park event on April 8, 2024 from 11am - 4pm, at Streetsboro City Park, 8970 Kirby Lane, Streetsboro as we witness the breathtaking total solar eclipse. An added bonus to this event is that the members of the Friends of Streetsboro Parks were selected as Community Eclipse Ambassador. These individuals underwent training in eclipse education, basic astronomy, eclipse viewing safety and are equipped with the knowledge to make this event truly special.
During the Total Eclipse in the Park event you will have the opportunity to enjoy
delicious food from various food trucks, live DJ entertainment, children’s craft activities, and the live remote broadcast from 88.9FM WSTB. There will also be free viewing glasses, plus the first 250 people receive free grab bags with Eclipse goodies, glasses and a limited edition Eclipse souvenir treat.
