The Haymaker Farmers’ Market is open year-round, every Saturday morning in Kent.  

Portage County’s oldest producer’s only farmers’ market offers a wide variety of locally grown and produced items including prepared foods; fresh fruits; vegetables; herbs; fresh cut flowers; garden starts; perennials; jams and jellies; preserves; grass-fed beef, pork, and chicken; pastured eggs; pastured cow, goat, and sheep milk cheeses; honey and honey products; maple syrup and maple products; baked goods including traditional, vegan and gluten-free; locally roasted coffee and whole beans; tea; magical medicinal remedies; popsicles; gourmet culinary herb blends; kettle corn; handmade soaps, lotions, and body care products; art and more!

Garrettsville Summerfest is among the largest summer festivals in Northeastern Ohio. Join us for three days of amazing family fun! Fireworks, Rides, Games, Community Parade & Tractor Parade, Walk/Run and much more!


Register to participate in the 2024 Headwaters Adventure Race. RUN 2-miles PEDAL 10-miles PADDLE 5-miles. Do it all yourself, or join a team to do it together or break up the legs. Kayak and Canoe Rental are available.

Calling all Car Enthusiasts! Witness a spectacular display of vintage wheels, each with its own story & history. There will be food trucks, DJ, and a band at 5pm. There will be trophies and awards. $10 registration fee at event $5 fee for all visitors attending the car show, includes swimming & fishing for the day. 

This will be held in a grass field. There is a rain date of July 13, 2024.
